We’re not Here to throw around big buzzwords. For us, sustainable fashion isn’t a trend – it’s the only way forward. From day one, we knew that if we were going to create clothes, we had to do it responsibly . So what does that actually mean?
We produce locally and responsibly
All our garments are made in Bali in collaboration with trusted factories, artisans and suppliers we have worked with for years. This gives us full control over quality, working conditions and every stage of production, so we can be sure we are partnering with true specialists. We choose local partners because we believe in the power of small, responsible businesses. This model supports the local economy, reduces our carbon footprint and ensures we work with people who share our values.
We choose natural fabrics
We work only with high quality materials like cotton and viscose, no polyester. Whenever possible we use fabrics certified by GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and OEKO TEX. We’ll be honest: not all pieces are certified yet, the market is evolving and certified textiles can be hard to source locally. Still, we always ensure our materials are top quality and free from harmful substances. For metals and stones we use silver and natural, ethically sourced gemstones. We use high quality fine silver 999 as our starting material; after manufacturing and soldering the finished pieces meet the sterling silver 925 standard. Finishes are non toxic and nickel free and any plating is durable and tested. Quality, longevity and responsible sourcing guide our choices so everything looks beautiful and lasts while minimizing negative impact on people and the planet..
We minimise waste
We make a conscious effort to reduce waste from the design process to production. Our processes are optimised to make the most of each material and avoid unnecessary losses. We produce small quantities to prevent overproduction. Our garments follow current trends, but they are also timeless and made to last so they can stay with you for years. We encourage mindful fashion choices: choose quality over quantity.
We support environmental initiatives
As a brand that cares about the planet, we get involved in projects that directly support the environment. One of them is our partnership with Renato Bezerra, who for years has explored the secrets of the ocean, worked as a photographer for National Geographic and privately protects coral reefs because the ocean is like home to him. Through this initiative a part of our profits goes towards protecting marine ecosystems. Actions like these are just as important to us as responsible production, we want our work to have a real, positive impact on the future of our planet.
We are transparent
From the very beginning we have been committed to honesty and openness. We love sharing how our products are made. In fact we handle many parts of the process ourselves so we can maintain full control over our work and the final outcome. The same goes for our pricing. We never inflate our prices. Each piece is priced fairly taking into account factors like fabric quality, design complexity, graphics, prints, trims, sewing, logistics, overheads and a fixed profit that always stays the same.
At Rebrandt, we believe sustainability is a shared responsibility. That’s why we talk openly about our choices — we are not here just to sell clothes, but to raise awareness about fashion’s impact on the environment. We encourage you to shop mindfully and care for your clothes so they can last as long as possible!
